In these stories, the author has endeavored to describe the epoch of the coming of the pilgrims, rather than to follow a strictly chronological order of events. She has adhered to the main facts in the lives of the men, women and children who made up the valiant company aboard the Mayflower, but she has not carried the "children's" lives beyond 1626. In doing this, she has availed herself, to a certain extent, of that license according to all writers of historical fiction. 8x5.5", 280 pages, 2 color plates and 8 black and white plates.
